Young Entrepreneurs of Atlanta Foundation

The Young Entrepreneurs of Atlanta Foundation, Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports, educates, and encourages young people under the age of 24 to improve their chances of success by promoting youth entrepreneurship as a viable solution to unemployment. Through our programs, we provide young entrepreneurs with tools, mentorship, and resources that aids them in the growth and development of their entrepreneurial goals. The Y.E. is led by a group of energetic and dynamic future leaders. Their ability to engage youth in a creative format promotes learning and challenges participants to think critically about their future. Not only do they learn critical skills needed of entrepreneurship, they also help them to develop a plan of action for immediate implementation. They truly believe that all youth can be successful

October 2016, I had the opportunity to engages students of Dekalb County high schools during one of the the programs operated by Y.E.. During the marketing/business myself and young entrepreneurs from in the Atlanta area convened in a panel style discussion with students. The purpose was to expose them to options in the workforce other than the typical employment scheme; one where the employer dictates the employee's wages and activities.
